Kinesiology consultations

Kinesiology reduces and removes stress from the mind and body. A kinesiologist uses gentle muscle testing techniques to communicate with the subconscious. In this way one can find information about stresses and health issues and identify the best ways to clear them.

Kinesiology’s effective results come from working with the body’s innate healing intelligence. This improves neurological and physiological function.

Kinesiology can help adults and children with:

  • Stress, Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Mood disorder, Anxiety, Phobias
  • Insomnia, Addictions, Relationship or Career issues
  • ADD & ADHD, Behavioural and Learning difficulties
  • Belief systems that hold you back, Self-sabotage patterns
  • Hypertension, Obesity, Chronic Fatigue

What happens in a Kinesiology session?

You’ll receive a full health check and interview in the first session which is 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes. Each session begins with setting treatment goals and a review of progress. Clients are fully clothed and awake on a massage table. Muscle testing finds the relevant issues and systems to work on. Then it guides the choice of techniques such as:

  • Hydration/mineral balance
  • Muscle relaxation
  • Energy healing
  • Brain integration
  • Jaw reset
  • Affirmations
  • Counselling
  • Emotional stress release
  • Acupressure
  • Chakra, gland and organ balance
  • Blood & lymph energiser
  • Homeopathics
  • Essences

Kinesiology puts you back in touch with yourself. Clients feel energised but relaxed after a Kinesiology session. Discomfort, confusion or suppression are replaced with a sense of purpose and wholeness. Book a session today!

Many clients experience huge benefits after just one session but at least 2-3 sessions are recommended for best results.

Where did Kinesiology come from?

In the 1960’s, Dr. John Goodheart, a Chiropractor began combining acupuncture theory with a variety of western discoveries that involved touch reflexes and muscle testing. He discovered that there was a relationship between acupuncture meridians, major organs and muscles. He called this system Applied Kinesiology.

One the earliest students of Dr. Goodheart’s, was Dr. John Thie, who saw its potential and developed a simplified system which he called Touch for Health (TFH). Dr. Thie’s aim was to teach anyone interested in self care to use these simple techniques to help themselves, their family and friends.

Kinesiology today developed from Touch for Health (TFH), the most widely used system of kinesiology in the world. Millions of people have experienced and benefited from TFH. It is recognised and respected as the fundamental training for other kinesiology systems as well as a healing modality in it’s own right – and a key source for the emergence of Energy Medicine, Energy Kinesiology, Brain Gym and even Energy Psychology.

TFH uses muscle testing as a method of biofeedback to identify imbalances in the body’s energy system. Using a holistic approach, we rebalance the body’s energies and activate the body’s intrinsic healing process so that the body can better heal itself. The TFH process can also assist individuals to better achieve their life goals and true potential with goal specific balancing.

Kinergetics is a type of Energy Kinesiology, a modern creative Kinesiology system which uses natural healing energy to remove stress and correct imbalances. Kinergetics was originally developed by kinesiologist Philip Rafferty who integrated the best aspects of many diverse kinesiology systems into a systematic and logical holisitc therapy. Kinergetics is fast, safe and effective.
